Job summary

Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor in Wrexham on a 14-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a £32,500 annual salary plus a bonus and a varied workload across the employee lifecycle.

You will act as a primary contact for managers on people-related matters, support investigations, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and help maintain compliance with policies and employment law in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role at Advisor level.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience supporting employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for managers on people-related matters.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, conduct and performance issues.
• Assist with investigations and related documentation.
• Support compliance with policies and employment law.
• Review absence trends and assist with return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and interview arrangements.
• Prepare offers and assist with pre-employment checks.
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes for new hires.
• Support training administration and employee development initiatives.
• Produce contracts and other employment-related documents.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Contribute to HR policy reviews and improvement projects.
• Respond to day-to-day HR enquiries from staff and managers.
