Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for an HR Advisor to work in Wrexham. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, with duties spanning absence, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR administration in a fast-paced factory setting.

You will report to the HR Manager and support management with professional HR guidance while contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor in a manufacturing/fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
• Ability to work closely with HR Manager and management team.

Responsibilities

• Support full employee lifecycle across absence management, onboarding, engagement, and HR administration.
• Provide professional HR guidance to managers and staff.
• Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with absence management, ER cases, and organisational change initiatives.
• Collaborate with management to meet business objectives and maintain best practices.

• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, day role
• Duration: Fixed Term Contract (14 Months)
• Benefits: Completion bonus, pension (3% employee / 5% employer salary sacrifice), 31 days holiday including bank holidays, private medical cover after probation

Job Details:

• Pay: £32,500 per annum plus completion bonus
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, day role
• Duration: Fixed Term Contract (14 Months)

Job Role:

As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with the HR Manager and wider management team, supporting the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The HR Advisor will provide support across employee relations, absence management, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, learning and development, HR administration, policy development and wider people initiatives. The successful HR Advisor will act as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing professional HR guidance while supporting business objectives and maintaining best practice standards. This HR Advisor position offers excellent exposure across all areas of HR and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an HR Advisor
• CIPD Level 5 qualification, working towards CIPD Level 5, or equivalent HR experience
• Experience working within a manufacturing, operational or similarly fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Experience of recruitment and onboarding
