Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Peterborough, United Kingdom, is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our UK People team. You will provide day-to-day HR administration and advisory support to line managers and employees across our nationwide division.

The role balances operational HR coordination with exposure to Employee Relations casework, ideal for an HR Coordinator or Assistant ready to step into advisory work.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Assistant, Coordinator, or junior Advisor role within a corporate or professional services environment.
• Working knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience supporting HR processes.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR administration and advisory support to line managers and employees.
• Support ER casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and PIPs.
• Attend ER meetings, draft outcome letters, and maintain compliant case records.
• Oversee onboarding, contracts, variations, and leaver documentation; maintain GDPR-compliant records.
