Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Peterborough is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy division within a respected professional services organisation. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to manage an ER caseload and provide practical HR guidance across a varied client group.

You will report to the Divisional HR Business Partner, build strong relationships with managers, support organisational change and HR projects, and help deliver a high-quality employee lifecycle service.

Qualifications

• Solid experience operating at HR Advisor level within a generalist HR role.
• Strong hands-on employee relations experience with the confidence to manage cases independently.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Confident advising and influencing managers across a varied stakeholder population.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, practical HR advice to managers and employees across the division.
• Manage a varied employee relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and flexible working matters.
• Build strong relationships with your client group and coach managers on day-to-day people challenges.
• Support the HR Business Partner with complex ER cases, organisational change, restructures and divisional priorities.
• Collaborate with HR Shared Services and Recruitment to ensure high-quality service across the employee lifecycle.
• Contribute to broader people activity including reward, appraisals, promotions and wellbeing.
