Help Shape an Exceptional Employee Experience

We're looking for a knowledgeable and driven HR Advisor to join a collaborative HR team and play a key role in delivering high-quality people support across the business.

This position offers a great blend of employee relations, payroll coordination, HR administration and continuous improvement. It's ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with managers, solving people-related challenges and ensuring core HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The Opportunity

As a trusted HR partner, you'll work closely with managers and employees, providing practical guidance on a variety of HR matters while helping to maintain compliant and effective people practices. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives, making a genuine impact on how HR services are delivered.

No two days will be the same. One day you may be advising on an employee relations matter, while the next you'll be supporting payroll activity, reviewing HR processes, or contributing to improvements that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line HR guidance and support to managers across a broad range of people matters.
  • Handle employee relations cases, ensuring issues are managed fairly, consistently and in line with current legislation.
  • Support performance management, probation reviews and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Assist with investigations and prepare HR documentation as required.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll activity, ensuring employee changes are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor HR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and service delivery.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives, projects and system enhancements.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business and promote best-practice people management.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a combination of strong HR knowledge, sound judgement and excellent organisational skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or be working towards it.
  • Experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisory position.
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • Exposure to payroll administration or payroll coordination activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and delivering a high-quality HR service.
  • The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
Why Apply?
  • Varied and rewarding role with exposure to all areas of HR operations.
  • Opportunity to partner with managers across the business and influence positive outcomes.
  • Collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Involvement in HR improvement projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent opportunity to develop your HR career within a growing organisation.
