Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of generalist HR experience or strong HR admin background.
• Experience advising managers and employees on HR matters.
• Knowledge of disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence processes.
• Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent administration and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with TUPE, organisational change or consultations.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage and support employee relations cases including disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Advise on family-friendly leave, flexible working and employment legislation.
• Support formal meetings, investigations and hearings.
• Prepare accurate HR correspondence and documentation.
• Coach managers in handling people issues effectively.
• Identify HR risks and provide practical solutions.
• Manage cases through to resolution, escalating high-risk matters as needed.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR systems.
• Support HR reporting, policies and projects.
• Ensure policies are applied consistently in line with UK legislation.
• Handle sensitive information discreetly.
