Job summary

Turning Point in Manchester is seeking an HR Advisor to join a busy People Team. The role focuses on ER guidance, case management, and coaching managers to handle queries effectively.

You will be the first point of contact for disciplinary and performance issues, supporting policy changes and training line managers. A hybrid working pattern requires one day in Manchester office weekly and the remainder from home.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ER guidance and transactional HR support.
• At least 12 months supporting a busy operation with case management.
• CIPD Level 5 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for ER guidance and transactional HR support.
• Coach line managers to handle queries with confidence.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance processes and escalate as needed.
• Provide training on key policy processes and changes.
• Analyse management information and identify trends to action.
• Maintain data records in Word/Excel; may use iTrent.
