Job summary

The Portfolio Group, based in Manchester, is seeking an ER Advisor to join as HR Consultant on a permanent, on-site basis. You will support clients via Microsoft Teams to handle disciplinary, grievance, and appeal matters, along with investigations and settlements.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, law, or related business discipline or relevant experience in employment law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, delivering technical information and commercial advice with attention to detail.
• Experience in HR consultancy and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with clients and their employees, conduct or support the client to conduct meetings.
• Undertake mediation, conciliation and other employment relations services as requested.
• Provide clients with advice on their legal position with due regard to impartiality.
• Produce prompt, high quality reports within specified timeframes and manage files accordingly.
• Contribute to achieving hearing targets and repeat business for the team.
