Quanex is seeking an HR Advisor to join our team in Denby, Derbyshire. You will be the go-to HR expert for managers and staff, handling ER issues, policy implementation and legal compliance to support our people strategy and business goals.

You’ll engage across payroll, benefits, onboarding and workforce planning while promoting engagement, wellbeing and inclusive culture in a manufacturing setting. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a continental shift pattern.

Qualifikationen

• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent HR qualification
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Experience managing employee relations casework independently
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and experienced with HRIS systems
• Excellent at building and developing relationships at all levels
• Demonstrable resilience and forward planning skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible to work the continental shift patterns
• Resilient and adaptable to navigate the evolving workflows
• Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment is desirable

Aufgaben

• Act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely and effective HR guidance
• Manage employee relations cases through to resolution with fair, legally compliant outcomes
• Maintain compliance with employment legislation and company policies
• Coach leaders to address performance, conduct, attendance and sensitive employee matters
• Support engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture
• Deliver onboarding, induction and lifecycle activities to ensure a smooth employee experience
• Coordinate transition of temporary agency workers to payroll with accuracy and compliance
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits and payroll changes
