People Experience Advisor (HR) – 18 Month FTC – London, UK

Reporting to the Account's Regional Senior People Experience Partner, this role plays a key part in providing factual advice, guidance & interpretation of policy & practice to individuals, including own coordination & delivery of HR processes in all aspects of employee relations. The HR Advisor will also guide project work such as UK People initiatives as well as Organisation Development and Transformation projects through supporting the company's HR Business Partners in their mission to attract, engage and retain key talent consistent with that of an employer of choice.

Responsibilities
  • To actively support all employees and line managers, providing advice, guidance and interpretation of HR policy and practice, making them aware of the JLL approach and their obligations within the process or situation.
  • To participate in creating, maintaining and launching policies, processes and templates as requested.
  • To collaborate and engage with the wider HR and business community to provide a responsive, consistent and forward‑thinking HR service.
  • To manage flexible working requests and provide change details to the HR operations team.
  • To support managers with disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings and other complex staff issues as requested, tracking using an ER Tracker.
  • To proactively manage long‑term or repetitive absence, including OHP referrals and GIP cases in conjunction with the Benefits team.
  • To contribute to the completion of regular and customised management information on a timely basis, interpreting trends and findings, summarising and completing various reporting requirements.
  • To actively support the Senior People Experience Partner and the business in driving the Diversity & Inclusion agenda within the business.
  • To actively maintain UK and, where needed, international legislative knowledge.
  • To design appropriate initiatives and deliver project work as agreed.
  • To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required at the request.
  • To uphold and actively promote our values and behaviours.
  • To support the People Experience Partner with organisational change programmes, including restructuring and redundancy consultation.
  • To support harmonisation of terms and conditions following change programmes and acquisitions, as required.
  • To support L&D and Talent Management initiatives led by our L&D team.
  • To provide advice to managers and staff on performance management issues (PIP and probation cases), tracking using the ER Tracker.
  • To deliver coaching and advice to line managers and training on policy, process and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Degree educated or CIPD Accredited with equivalent work experience preferable.
  • Understanding of HR policy & practice, and of databases and other information sources.
  • Be courageous, curious and a decisive thinker who makes decisions based on sound commercial and legal knowledge.
  • Be a skilled influencer driven to deliver with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver on time.
  • Be a resilient self‑starter.
  • Previous HR experience within a fast‑paced, matrixed organisation preferable.
  • Strong experience of regulatory frameworks in the UK.
  • Excellent communications and letter‑writing skills.
  • Good listening and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work with and challenge members of management and, sometimes, leadership.
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and complex issues with complete confidentiality.
