Job summary

Four Recruitment is seeking an HR Advisor to join a well-established people team in the South Manchester area. This generalist role focuses on delivering a proactive, professional HR service to the business.

You will act as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations, support recruitment and onboarding, administer lifecycle changes, review policies, and drive learning and wellbeing initiatives while producing HR reports for the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for Managers on employee relations issues (performance, disciplinary, grievances, capability).
• Prepare documentation, attend HR meetings and ensure outcomes are implemented.
• Support Managers with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Ensure accurate administration of employee lifecycle changes.
• Regularly review HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Drive delivery of learning, engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Produce HR reports with analysis for the business.

This is an overview of the things you will take responsibility for:

• Being the first point of contact for Managers on all employee relations issues, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance related issues
• Preparation of documentation, attending HR meetings and ensuring outcomes are implemented effectively
• Supporting Managers with the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an efficient onboarding process
• Ensuring accurate administration of employee lifecycle changes
• Continually reviewing HR policies and procedures, in line with legislative changes
• Driving the delivery of learning, engagement and well being initiatives
• Producing HR reports with analysis for the broader business

The ideal candidate for this role will be a true generalist with strong employment law knowledge along with the ability to communicate effectively and influence others. Strong attention to detail along with a positive, solutions focussed mindset are also essential.
