Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to support managers across the business with people matters and to help deliver a high-performing workforce. The role is hybrid, with guidance on ER, onboarding, payroll, and engagement, and involves using HR data to drive improvements.

You will advise line managers on HR topics, handle employee relations cases, update policies, and contribute to recruitment and reporting. A CIPD qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or comparable HR role.
  • Strong experience managing employee relations cases.
  • Good understanding of current UK employment law.
  • Confident using HR systems and data and MS Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strategic outlook.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to influence and support managers effectively.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR colleagues.
  • Advise and coach line managers on ER and HR topics, including delivering training.
  • Support and manage a range of employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
  • Review and update HR policies in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Work with data and metrics and provide insight into data.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to onboarding processes and HR metrics reporting.
  • Support employee engagement activities and reward processes.
  • Assist with recruitment pre-screening and coordination.
  • Assist with payroll activities where required.
  • Support office facilities coordination and workplace H&S compliance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast paced and well established organisation based near Southend. This is a varied role, supporting managers across the business with a wide range of people matters and contributing to the delivery of a high-performing, engaged workforce.

About You:

  • CIPDqualified or equivalent work experience

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
