Job summary

Atkinson Moss Ltd. in Diss, Norfolk is recruiting an experienced HR Administration Team Leader to oversee a team of 5-6 HR Administrators across the full employee lifecycle.

The role combines hands-on HR administration with process improvements, coaching, and strong knowledge of UK employment law and compliance. You’ll drive service levels and collaborate with managers and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality HR service.

Qualifications

• Experience directly managing an HR administration team.
• Hands-on HR administration and contractual experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience managing HR compliance, including Right to Work.
• Understanding of processes, controls and audit requirements.
• Experience improving and streamlining HR processes.
• Ability to manage high volumes while maintaining accuracy and service levels.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• CIPD Level 5 or 7 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5-6 HR Administrators.
• Oversee day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.
• Act as a point of escalation for HR administration and contractual queries.
• Manage team workloads, service levels and performance reporting.
• Provide hands-on support with contracts, variations and employee changes.
• Ensure compliance across Right to Work, GDPR, and audit requirements.
• Review and improve HR processes, controls and documentation.
• Monitor HR query volumes and service performance, identifying trends.
• Work closely with HR colleagues, managers and wider stakeholders.
