Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of Specialty training required.
• Portfolio demonstrating criteria for progression needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inpatient and outpatient care of complex HPB patients.
• Involved in complex open and robotic HPB operations.
• Engage in research and quality improvement activities.

Skills

More than 2 years' experience in HPB surgery

Evidence of successful completion of an ATLS Course

Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

Participation in audit

Effective communication skills

Organizational skills

Experience in advanced laparoscopic HPB Surgery as primary operator

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

GMC registration with a licence to practise

FRCS or Equivalent
