Job summary

Hamilton Woods Associates are hiring a Housing Support Worker to work with young people in dispersed accommodation across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. The role is temporary, initially 2 months, with an expectation to cover Rochdale, Tameside, Trafford, Manchester, Stockport or Salford.

You will assist clients with complex needs such as homelessness and substance misuse, complete support plans and risk assessments, and signpost to community services.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and business insurance
• Enhanced DBS disclosure required
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)

Location: covering anywhere from Rochdale, Tameside, Trafford, Manchester, Stockport or Salford

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer to join an organisation on an initial 2-month basis to work with young people in dispersed accommodation.

Duties of the Housing Support Worker

• Working with a variety of clients with complex needs including homelessness, substance misuse and young offenders
• Signposting clients to other services within the community
• Completing support plans and risk assessments

Essential Requirements of the Housing Support Worker

• Full UK Driving Licence and business insurance
• Enhanced DBS
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential)
