Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking a Housing Support Officer in Ayrshire to deliver housing management and support services to asylum seekers. The role includes coordinating move-ins/outs, maintaining properties to contractual standards, and ensuring welfare needs and safeguarding are addressed.

You will manage a portfolio of homes within the region, work with internal teams and external agencies, and maintain precise records while tracking performance and risk.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality housing management and support services to service users within the assigned region.
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, voids and property inspections to contractual standards.
• Identify service users' support needs and develop appropriate welfare packages with internal and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor KPIs and report on performance; manage risks as they arise.
