Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking a Housing Support Officer to join a growing team across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The role focuses on supporting asylum seekers through the Home Office right-to-work process, delivering practical and emotional support, safeguarding, and meticulous record-keeping.

The post holder will manage a portfolio of homes, coordinate moves and inspections, monitor KPIs, and work with internal and external partners to ensure appropriate support is in place.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality housing management and support services to service users within assigned region.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs, inspections and voids while maintaining contractual standards.
• Identify service users' support needs and work with internal and external partners to provide appropriate assistance.
