Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a not-for-profit supported housing provider across the UK to recruit a Housing Officer for Hertfordshire/Essex. You will help tenants sustain tenancies and support independent living within specialised housing.

You will manage sign-ups, benefits applications, allocations, rent issues, and welfare checks, with occasional travel to our Leicester head office for meetings and training. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• CIH Level 3 is desirable.
• Relevant housing management qualifications are preferred.
• Experience in a housing association or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Guide tenants through sign-up and Housing Benefit applications.
• Ensure allocations comply with housing policies and manage terminations.
• Assist with rent matters and liaise with the Income and Revenues team.
• Conduct property visits and participate in care planning with healthcare professionals.
