Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd on behalf of a well-established housing organisation in Dudley is seeking a Housing Support Officer to work in a supported housing unit for young adults and care leavers. You will provide practical and emotional housing-related support to help them develop independence and stability.

The role involves 1:1 housing support, helping residents maintain tenancies, developing support plans, and signposting to welfare benefits and services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience providing housing support or similar support work.
• Strong understanding of support planning and tenancy sustainment.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing-related support.
• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities
