Job summary

Squared, a not-for-profit housing association, is hiring a Hostel Support Worker in Luton. You will assess new customers, develop support and risk management plans, and deliver regular coaching to empower residents toward independence.

The role involves group and one-to-one interventions, reflective practice, and mandatory training during the induction period. The successful candidate should have experience with vulnerable people, strong communication skills, IT literacy, and a non-judgemental

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people in customer-centred environment.
• Awareness of homelessness, wellbeing, support services and affordability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments of new customers and devise support plans.
• Develop risk management plans and conduct regular coaching sessions.
• Support Service Managers and participate in group and one-to-one interventions.
• Engage in reflective practice and respond to complex resident situations.
