Job summary

Squared Organisation in Luton is seeking a Hostel Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team on a permanent basis. You will assess new customers, create and implement tailored support and risk management plans, and deliver coaching sessions with colleagues, ensuring residents receive person-centred care.

A DBS check is required. The role is full-time (37 hours/week) with a 1 in 4 weekend rota, based in Luton, with a competitive salary of £25,000–£26,000 per year and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people within a customer centred environment.
• Highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and IT literacy.
• Confident decision maker and highly organised, able to plan and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments of new customers and devise and implement support plans and risk management plans.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and support Service Managers; participate in group and one-to-one interventions.
• Engage in reflective practice, recognise challenging situations and support colleagues to bring about positive change.
• Attend mandatory training during induction and stay available for sessions within working hours.
