Job summary

YMCA St Paul’s Group is seeking a friendly Housing and Support Assistant to deliver frontline customer service to residents and visitors at our outer London sites. You will be the first point of contact, handling enquiries and guiding people to the right services with empathy.

In addition to reception duties, you will contribute to health and safety, first aid, fire marshal responsibilities and the wellbeing of residents, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment across our housing schemes.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in housing or front desk roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to residents and visitors.
• Handle telephone services, mail, repairs, and payments.
• Act as first aider and fire marshal during emergencies.
• Support wellbeing and safety checks and general Health & Safety tasks.
• Welcome new residents and assist with inquiries and complaints.
