Job summary

Transform Housing & Support in Walton on Thames is recruiting a Housing and Support Officer for the Elmbridge Team. You will provide high-quality support to clients across Walton on Thames, Molesey, Hersham, and nearby areas, helping them achieve independent living and stability.

You will work with a warm team to support vulnerable individuals, including those who are homeless or facing mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Develop non-judgmental professional relationships with clients.
• Manage own time to deliver outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Be prepared for Enhanced DBS checks and travel using own car for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker to help clients achieve goals and live independently.
• Provide family mediation and support to bring families back together.
• Collaborate with professionals to support desired outcomes for clients.
• Conduct problem solving and debriefs within the team.
• Assist with repair issues and rent arrears repayments.
• Carry out room inspections and health & safety checks.
• Contribute to planning and delivering extra-curricular workshops and activities.
