Job summary

CIH International Housing Group is seeking a proactive Specialist Housing Officer in Norwich to manage a portfolio of supported housing properties and deliver outstanding tenant services.

You will handle tenancies, resolve issues, perform visits and inspections, and work with authorities and support services to sustain tenancies while ensuring safe, welcoming estates. This role requires strong communication and practical housing management knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Tenant-focused experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and make decisions confidently.
• Good IT skills and understanding of housing management or tenancy issues.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancies and provide housing management support to tenants across supported housing schemes.
• Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour, neighbour disputes, and tenancy breaches.
• Carry out tenancy visits, property inspections, sign-ups, and end-of-tenancy processes.
• Work closely with partner agencies, including local authorities, support services, and the police, to support tenants and sustain tenancies.
• Help ensure estates are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming places to live.
