Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils is seeking a housing professional to assess customers' support needs and identify suitable placements in supported accommodation. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to mitigate risks and signpost to the services customers require.

You will develop partnerships with accommodation providers, support customers to transition into permanent housing in private or social sectors, and manage a varied caseload with careful record-keeping of

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management, rent account management, risk assessments and support planning.
• Significant experience supporting individuals with complex needs and working with accommodation providers and partner agencies.
• Knowledge of local support services including mental health, welfare and benefits provision.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments of customers' support needs and associated risks and allocate suitable placements within supported accommodation.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with supported accommodation providers to identify move-on opportunities for customers.
• Manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, outcomes and risk mitigation actions.
• Investigate and resolve complaints from customers and landlords to achieve positive outcomes.
