Job summary

CIH International Housing Group seeks an experienced Housing Manager to oversee a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties. You will lead a team, monitor tenancy compliance, and coordinate with partner agencies to support tenancy readiness and move-on into permanent homes.

You will ensure timely data reporting, maintain accurate records, and organise monthly team meetings. A strong background in social housing, confidentiality, and customer care is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of social housing, tenancy and estates management.
• Strong record-keeping and data reporting capabilities.
• Awareness of welfare benefits and welfare reform is advantageous.
• Experience handling confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 56 temporary accommodation properties.
• Record all customer contact on the Open Housing System and provide guidance to staff.
• Prepare and organise monthly meetings for the housing team.
• Collate monthly performance data and provide reports to leadership.
• Monitor tenancy compliance, address breaches, and escalate as needed.
• Safeguard tenants and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately.
• Work with multi-agency partners to support move-on and tenancy readiness.
