Job summary

You will work with residents, contractors, local authorities, and partner agencies to ensure high standards of service, tenancy management, income collection, and community engagement.

This role focuses on enforcing tenancy terms, resolving anti-social behaviour, conducting estate inspections, and maintaining records in line

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or similar role.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, rent arrears, and ASB casework.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines.
• Experience conducting home visits and engaging with residents.
• Good IT skills and experience with housing software such as Northgate.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated patch of properties and be the first point of contact for residents.
• Carry out tenancy sign-ups, reviews, and end-of-tenancy procedures.
• Investigate tenancy breaches and enforce action where required.
• Manage rent arrears, agree repayment plans, and support income recovery.
• Investigate anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes.
• Collaborate with support agencies to sustain tenancies and safeguard residents.
• Carry out estate inspections and report repairs or environmental issues.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legislation and maintain records.
• Promote resident engagement and community initiatives.
