Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Housing Services Manager for a 3-month contract with a local authority. The role is on-site, five days a week, with an umbrella pay rate of £40 per hour.

You will lead Housing Management Services, ensuring customer-focused, high-performing, compliant, and efficient housing for tenants and leaseholders. Responsibilities include managing tenancy, income collection, estate management, tenancy support, enforcement, and tenant engagement while driving service

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in housing management or similar field.
• At least five years leading staff teams.
• Proficient in tenancy management, estate management, housing income collection and arrears recovery.
• Basic DBS check required.

Responsabilités

• Lead Housing Management teams to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage recruitment, performance, disciplinary actions, appraisals, training, and staff development.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure staffing structures, skills, and development plans are effective.
• Oversee employee health, safety, and wellbeing, including lone working arrangements.
