Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a proactive Team Leader to oversee planning, scheduling and logistics for a busy housing repairs and maintenance service in Crawley. You will lead planners and customer service advisors, ensuring repairs, voids and planned works are allocated efficiently and delivered to SLAs.

With strong organisational and communication skills, you will manage performance, support client relationships and drive continuous improvement across the team in a fast-paced housing

Qualifications

• Experience in planning/scheduling/coordination within housing, construction or maintenance.
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confident using scheduling software and housing management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Planning Team, ensuring effective scheduling of repairs, voids, and planned works.
• Oversee daily allocation of jobs to operatives and contractors, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
• Support and guide Customer Solutions Advisors, including escalations and complex repairs.
• Maintain oversight of call centre and team mailboxes, ensuring timely action and resolution of requests.
• Monitor team performance, conduct reviews and implement improvements.
• Act as senior contact for operational queries, supporting team and client relationships.
• Promote continuous improvement and high service delivery standards.
