Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a proactive Repairs Support Officer to join the Housing Repairs Service in a temporary contract role. The candidate will provide essential administrative support, monitor repairs through to completion and ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law requirements.

The role requires strong organisational and customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple repairs in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and customer service background.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear communication and professional telephone manner.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track housing repairs from instruction to completion.
• Use ICT systems to monitor diaries and follow up outstanding work.
• Track progress and ensure statutory timescales are met.
• Produce reports on repairs, performance and targets.
• Liaise with tenants to communicate progress and completion.
• Prepare letters to support compliance with Awaab’s Law.
