Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a Repairs Manager to lead operational delivery under Awaab’s Law from initial referral through inspection, make-safe actions, remedial works and closure while maintaining clear records and timelines.

The role combines strong repairs knowledge with supervision of trade staff, coordinating with planners, surveyors and contractors to provide a safe, timely and high-quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• Strong background in repairs, maintenance or housing property services.
• Experience supervising trade operatives or coordinating repair activities.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support Camden's response to Awaab’s Law from referral to closure with clear records.
• Supervise trade staff and coordinate with planners, surveyors and contractors.
• Ensure inspections, make-safe actions and remedial works are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Willingness to travel across the borough to attend inspections and support delivery.
