Job summary

Thirteen Group is recruiting a Housing Support Co-ordinator (Criminal Justice) on a fixed-term contract until July 2027, covering the Durham region. Internally named Accommodation Support Worker within Resettle North East, funded by the Ministry of Justice to help people leaving custody secure accommodation.

You will work in custody and community settings, managing a caseload, delivering one-to-one and group sessions, and providing housing and tenancy guidance while liaising with prisons,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system, local housing options and support services.
• Great communication and relationship-building skills with de-escalation ability.
• Experience delivering one-to-one and group sessions; able to motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals in custody and the community to overcome housing instability and resettlement challenges.
• Manage your own caseload and develop support plans to help clients find and sustain housing.
• Provide advice on housing, tenancy responsibilities and independent living.
