Job summary

Alongside is seeking a Support Worker for our Criminal Justice Service in Weston-super-Mare. You’ll be a steady, positive presence for people leaving prison who’ve recently experienced homelessness, handling referrals, needs and risk assessments, and tailoring support to promote stable accommodation.

You’ll work with partners such as the National Probation Service and other agencies to deliver multi‑agency plans, assist with budgeting and tenancy skills, keep clear records and contribute to

• Keep clear records and contribute to reporting for partners and funders.
• Build positive relationships with external agencies including criminal justice services.
• Explain rights, responsibilities and licence conditions to new clients.
