Mears Group in Basingstoke is seeking a Retention Advisor to manage landlord relationships, lease renewals and retention negotiations across a large residential portfolio.

You will review rents against market values, support property allocation decisions and collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and drive service improvements in a busy housing operations environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar duties within housing or lettings environments.
• Strong negotiation skills with landlords and agents.
• Experience in customer service oriented roles.
• Background in housing, repairs and lettings or social housing.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.

Responsabilités

• Managing rent reviews, lease renewals and retention negotiations with landlords and managing agents.
• Reviewing proposed rents against market rental values and making informed recommendations.
• Assessing properties based on condition, compliance, value and customer demand.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, agents and other partners.
• Managing and reviewing a portfolio of residential properties through different lifecycle stages.
• Carrying out property and record audits to maintain accurate housing stock information.
• Keeping clear records and providing regular updates and escalations.
• Collaborating with colleagues across property, repairs and operations teams.
• Supporting wider projects and service improvements.
