Sanctuary Housing in Birmingham seeks two Housing Officers to join the West Midlands Housing team. You will manage housing services across Birmingham, Solihull and Sandwell, with occasional cover in nearby areas.

The role involves responding to tenants’ needs, resolving issues, and improving local services. The position requires a full driving licence, excellent communication and experience in tenancy services.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in undertaking a similar housing role.
• Prior experience delivering tenancy services or housing management.
• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Good command of English in written and spoken form.
• Travel is required; a valid driving licence is essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality housing management services to tenants and leaseholders.
• Respond to tenancy, lease, service charges and occupancy enquiries and resolve issues.
• Build positive relationships with residents and involve them in improving services and local communities.
• Regularly visit properties and estates to identify issues and ensure safe, well-maintained homes.
• Respond to anti-social behaviour and safeguard concerns in line with policy.
