Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is partnering with a North East council to recruit an experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer on a long-term interim basis. The role covers tenancy management, occupancy and the day-to-day operation of temporary accommodation, ensuring safety, compliance and value for money.

You will liaise with landlords, providers and internal teams, using Excel and Power BI to monitor performance, costs and KPIs while supporting residents with signposting to housing, benefits and

Qualifications

• Experience across temporary accommodation, homelessness, housing management or tenancy management.
• Comfortable dealing with both property and resident side of the service.
• Ability to manage tenancy issues, arrears and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Look after a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties and households.
• Manage day-to-day tenancy and licence issues, including arrears and breaches.
• Coordinate placement of homeless households into suitable temporary accommodation.
• Carry out property and resident visits to ensure safety and compliance.
• Liaise with landlords, providers, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Manage relationships with accommodation suppliers and monitor occupancy levels.
• Keep housing and financial records up to date and produce KPIs.
• Use Excel and Power BI to monitor costs and performance.
