Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking a Housing Management Officer to join our Tenancy Services team. You will be responsible for frontline housing management, including tenancy enforcement and estate management, delivering services to tenants and communities across the district.

You will work with tenants, residents and partner agencies to sustain tenancies, address issues, and promote safe, clean and thriving neighbourhoods.

• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Experience of housing management, tenancy enforcement, estate management, or a related field is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing a designated housing patch and providing a visible presence within local communities.
• Delivering all aspects of tenancy management, including mutual exchanges, tenancy changes, breaches of tenancy, and tenancy sustainment.
• Managing estate-related matters and addressing environmental and neighbourhood concerns.
• Investigating and resolving reports of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.
• Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to support vulnerable tenants and improve outcomes.
• Ensuring services are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs), with a strong focus on customer experience and continuous service improvement.
• Supporting the Council's commitment to providing safe, sustainable, and well-managed communities.

As a Housing Management Officer, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of frontline housing management services, including estate and tenancy management. Experience of housing management, tenancy enforcement, estate management, or a related field is essential.
