CHS Group is seeking a Housing Officer for General Needs Housing to cover a patch across Cambridgeshire. You will visit tenants, inspect estates and work with partner agencies to resolve issues, balancing the needs of customers with community safety and neighbourhood wellbeing.

The role offers 35 hours per week, a permanent contract, and hybrid working with regular travel across Cambridgeshire from the Histon office.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent customer service mindset and ability to engage with customers.
• Knowledge of housing management, tenancy sustainment, welfare benefits and multi-agency collaboration.
• Strong time management and decision-making skills.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Aufgaben

• Build positive relationships with customers and help sustain tenancies.
• Maximise rental and service charge income and support tenancy terms.
• Manage anti-social behaviour cases with partner agencies to achieve outcomes.
• Carry out tenancy visits, estate inspections, and neighbourhood activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure homes are let efficiently and fairly.
• Involve customers in shaping and improving services.
