Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking a Housing Officer to manage a varied caseload of housing management issues, with a focus on anti-social behaviour, tenancy enforcement, safeguarding and supporting vulnerable residents. Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of housing and tenancy management and relevant legislation.
• Experience with anti-social behaviour (ASB) casework and enforcement processes.
• Ability to prepare evidence, witness statements and legal reports for court.
• Safeguarding and risk assessment skills to protect vulnerable residents.
• Strong communication, customer service and multi-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex ASB cases involving tenants, leaseholders and owners to resolve issues.
• Support victims and witnesses with risk assessments and safety planning.
• Lead multi-agency case work and coordinate actions with internal and external teams.
• Enforce tenancy agreements using appropriate legal tools and processes.
• Prepare statements and reports and attend court as required.
• Carry out tenancy visits and estate inspections and address breaches.
• Identify risks to vulnerable residents and coordinate safeguarding.
• Arrange emergency accommodation and relocations when needed.
• Investigate complaints, maintain case records and assist with tenancy fraud checks.
• Develop improved practices and ensure health and safety, equality and inclusion.
