Job summary

G2 Recruitment Group Limited is currently supporting a local authority in appointing an experienced Housing Officer on a contract basis in the Midlands with hybrid working. The role starts ASAP and offers a 6-month initial contract with a negotiable rate.

You will manage a portfolio of tenancies, conduct sign-ups and audits, handle ASB cases, perform estate visits, and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with housing policies and legislation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Housing Officer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
• Experience managing ASB cases and resident-focused casework.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of tenancies.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Officer
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation
• Experience managing ASB cases and resident-focused casework
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
