Niyaa People is recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to join a leading housing organisation in Solihull on a 3-month contract, with hybrid working. You will handle tenancy and neighbourhood management, manage enquiries, and address ASB and tenancy breaches.

The role involves estate visits, liaising with teams and external agencies, and supporting residents to sustain tenancies. The ideal candidate has housing sector experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, solution-focused

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated patch of general needs properties.
• Provide day-to-day tenancy and neighbourhood management.
• Manage tenancy-related enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Investigate and manage low-level anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
• Address tenancy breaches and take appropriate action where required.
• Carry out tenancy visits, estate inspections and tenancy audits.
• Manage complaints and respond to resident enquiries.
• Support residents with tenancy sustainment and resolving issues at an early stage.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external agencies.
• Identify and report property, environmental and neighbourhood issues.
• Maintain accurate case records and progress cases within agreed timescales.
• Work in accordance with relevant housing legislation, policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with residents and promote well-managed, safe and sustainable neighbourhoods.

About You:
