Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd seeks a Housing Manager to lead daily housing management services at an Extra Care scheme.

You will ensure safety, maintenance and regulatory compliance while overseeing repairs and contractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven housing management experience.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations.
• Experience managing and scheduling property maintenance.
• Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management.
• Willingness to work towards Level 4/CIH Level 4 if not held.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of housing management services within an Extra Care scheme.
• Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
• Schedule repairs and manage contractor relationships.
• Deliver excellent customer service and address residents' concerns promptly.
• Welcome new residents and promote engagement with activities and events.

As Housing Manager, you will manage the day to day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme.

Ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy. You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme, ensuring they not only provide a high standard of living for our residents, but are 100% compliant with regulations.

Responsible for scheduling repairs and managing contractor relationships, focussing on high standards and value for money.

Customer service skills are a must, you will ensure residents feel heard and trust that any housing related concerns are addressed as a priority.

You will welcome new residents to the scheme encouraging engagement with activities and events.
