Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Housing Services Lead to support the Housing and Partnership Manager in delivering high-quality housing services and boosting resident involvement within an Extra Care scheme.

The role requires experience in housing management, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexible working options and a nine-day fortnight are available as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or property management with a focus on resident facing services and engagement.
• Solid understanding of health and safety and other RoSH regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including maintaining accurate records and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housing and Partnership Manager in ensuring resident involvement is intrinsically linked to delivering excellent housing services.
• Help residents to live independently within the Extra Care scheme.
• Maintain records and support tenancy management processes as required.

Within the role of Housing Services Lead you will assist the Housing and Partnership Manager in ensuring resident involvement is intrinsically linked to delivering excellent housing services and enabling residents to live independently within a designated Extra Care scheme.

The essential requirements for the role include:

• Experience in housing or property management with a focus on resident facing services and engagement
• Solid understanding of health and safety and other RoSH regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including maintaining accurate records and managing competing priorities
• A collaborative working style, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Familiarity with tenancy management processes and housing management systems
• A good level of digital skills and experience, including the use of Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams)
• Willing to work towards Level 3 Housing Apprenticeship (if not held)
