Job summary

Housing 21 in Southsea, Hampshire invites applications for a Housing and Partnership Manager. The role leads on all aspects of managing the Extra Care scheme, ensuring safe, well-maintained properties and high-quality housing services that support residents' independence and dignity.

You will build effective relationships with third-party care providers and oversee tenancy and housing management processes, aiming to deliver person-centred services within a flexible, nine-day fortnight working

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housing or property management.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff and third-party providers.
  • Experience managing teams, with a focus on employee development and performance.
  • Strong organisational skills, including budget and resource management.
  • Knowledge of tenancy management processes and housing management systems.
  • Experience implementing and embedding organisational changes.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions with third-party service providers.
  • Willingness to work towards Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4.

Housing and Partnership Manager - Southsea, Hampshire

Hours: 35 hours per week

What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in housing or property management
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and RoSH regulations and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and third-party providers
  • Experience managing teams, with a focus on employee development and performance.
  • Strong organisational skills, including budget and resource management
  • Knowledge of tenancy management processes and housing management systems
  • Experience implementing and embedding organisational changes
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions with third-party service providers
  • A good level of digital skills and experience, including the use of Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, MS Teams)
  • Willing to work towards Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 (if not held)
