Job summary

Home Group is seeking a community-focused housing professional who will build trusted relationships, take ownership of housing issues, and manage anti-social behaviour to keep neighbourhoods safe and welcoming. The role covers estate inspections and collaboration with contractors to keep homes compliant.

The ideal candidate will have experience in housing management, knowledge of housing law and safeguarding, strong organisation, and a valid driving licence.

You have

• You have experience in housing management or a similar customer focused role.
• You have confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• You have knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies.
• You have strong organisation skills and take ownership from start to finish.
• You have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The practical bits

• This is a full time role working predominantly Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. However, flexibility is key both for our customers and for your work life balance so these times are not set in stone.
• A community based role and we would expect you to be out and about in your patch, speaking to customers for the majority of the week. But of course there is admin work and you can do this with a mix of home working and office working. We do like to see our colleagues drop into the office at least twice a week.
• You’ll cover a patch within the area of Wigton and surrounding areas.
• You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.
• You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
