Job summary

Home Group in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Permanent Housing Support Assistant to help keep customers safe and our buildings secure. You’ll walk the building, monitor CCTV, greet visitors and support repairs and cleaning teams.

This full-time role operates on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, day and night shifts. An Enhanced DBS check is paid for, and you’ll access a health cash plan, generous pension contributions, and a wide range of discounts.

Typical shift

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas

• The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help!

• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

Job details

• Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
• You’ll work a 4 on, 4 off rota, covering a mixture of day and night shifts.
• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
