Job summary

Home Group is seeking a Housing Management Coordinator (part-time, 30 hpw) in Bath. You will focus on tenancy support, ensuring homes are safe and well maintained, and deliver a practical housing management service to help customers sustain their tenancies.

Responsibilities include managing housing caseloads, assisting with housing benefit claims, issuing notices when needed, preparing rooms for new tenants, and collaborating with colleagues and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties.
• Know-how of re-letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
• Able to take on a lead role within the team and collaborate with colleagues.

Housing Management Coordinator, part time (30 hpw) Monday to Friday

Pay £14.06 per hour (£27,500 per annum) [pro rata] and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing and Property Lead, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!

What you'll do

• Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you'll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
• Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
• Where there is a need, you'll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
• Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, you'll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.
• Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

Experience

• Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties
• Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
• Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues
• The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
• A can do positive attitude, you're proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.
• Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

You'll work 30 hpw, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm

We are happy to agree a flexible work pattern with you over either 4 or 5 days days a week

Covering Yeovil services with occasional travel to Chard and Street

Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,

To get from A to B, you'll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
