Job summary

Home Group Limited is looking for a Housing Manager to shape safe, welcoming neighbourhoods and manage housing issues from first contact to resolution. The role blends community work with office tasks and requires driving to cover patches.

You will inspect estates, coordinate with contractors, and collaborate with partners to safeguard income for reinvestment. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) with enhanced DBS paid, 34 days leave rising to 39, and volunteering days.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Confidence managing anti‑social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and sustaining tenancies.
• Strong organisational skills and ownership from start to finish.

You have

• Experience in housing management or a similar customer-focused role.
• Confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• Knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies.
• Strong organisation skills and ownership from start to finish.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The practical bits

• You'll spend three days a week working in the community in Deckham and two days a week in the office.
• Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw).
• You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.
• You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
