Housing Management Solicitor - Bristol - NQ to 2 Years PQE

Location: Bristol

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000

A respected and expanding firm is seeking a Housing Management Solicitor to join its growing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or one with up to 2 years' post‑qualification experience to develop litigation skills in a niche area of law, working with registered providers of social housing and gaining valuable experience in public law, Equality Act, and human rights issues.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of housing management matters, including:

  • Housing disrepair claims
  • Tenancy enforcement claims
  • Possession claims
  • Anti-social behaviour claims
  • Advising on policy matters

You will also assist partners and colleagues in managing complex and contentious matters, with opportunities to undertake advocacy.

Candidate Requirements
  • NQ to 2 years PQE (or due to qualify within 8 weeks)
  • Experience or interest in litigation
  • Desire to learn and develop specialist skills
  • Ability to manage their own caseload
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proactive approach and motivation
  • Willingness to attend the Bristol office 1-2 days per week
