Job summary

Target Housing Ltd. provides housing and support services to help service users sustain tenancies, develop independence, and achieve personal goals. The role includes helping with moving in/out, delivering tailored support plans, and promoting independence.

You'll work with partner agencies to improve service delivery, ensure a safe living environment, and assist with budgeting, benefits, and rent payments. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the welfare benefits system.
• Experience in risk assessment and support planning.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults/supported living.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Experience working with Local Authorities and health/social care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and support services to help service users sustain tenancies and achieve personal goals.
• Support service users with moving in and out of accommodation.
• Deliver person-centred support plans and achieve agreed outcomes within timescales.
• Build service users’ skills, confidence, and independence.
• Work with partner agencies to enhance service delivery.
• Support a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment.
• Provide guidance on independent living skills, budgeting, and maximising income.
• Assist with benefit claims and rent payments.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with occupancy agreements.
• Monitor property use, occupancy, and utilities; address issues promptly.
• Identify and respond to non-compliance and escalate concerns.
• Carry out risk assessments and support plans; review records.
• Support conflict resolution between service users and neighbours.
• Assist with activities that promote engagement and development.
• Maintain accurate records in line with audits.
